The philosophy of Grow Strong is that you enjoy taking care of your health. We hope to be a tool in that process. Whether you are new to working out or have been at it for years. Our goal is to provide an encouraging environment with safe, fun instruction.

We are passionate about what we have learned over the years regarding health and wellness. We look forward to sharing that passion with you and hope to be a tool to encourage and help make, "taking care of you", part of your daily routine.

Renee Kohl is married to Walter and has two children. She was born in South Florida and moved to Lake Placid in 1988.

Renee started her fitness career in 1996. and currently holds certifications through AFAA in Personal Training and Group Fitness. She has also earned continuing education credits in various nutrition classes, Kick box, and wellness. She is CPR certified through the American Red Cross.

Renee's passion is to help others learn to love fitness in any form. Renee is a firm believer that everyone feels better when they take care of the vessel that God entrusted to them. Also in teaching kids while they are young, to develop healthy lifestyles through nutrition and exercise.

Renee teaches strength and toning, kickboxing and Boot Camp, and the Warrior Kid classes.

Beth Plank is a resident of Lake Placid, Florida. She is married and enjoys living close to her two daughters and four grandchildren. Beth began her personal journey with yoga in 2006. She began doing yoga in her personal time and moved to taking private and group classes. She was so moved by the benefits she was experiencing both physically and mentally that she began taking classes to become a yoga instructor. Beth has completed her 200 + training hours and is certified as a Registered Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
